Miles Community College is transitioning to Jenzabar One, a new student information system that students will access through the Pioneer Portal. This transition will affect how students access their information, register for classes, and submit certain requests.
Banner access will end at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
This transition will not affect Canvas or the way students access their classes and assignments.
Please review the following information to prepare for the transition.
Spring 2027 Registration
Please review the following information to prepare for the transition.
Spring 2027 registration opened October 15 and will remain available in Banner Self-Service until 5:00 p.m. on October 20.
Students are strongly encouraged to register before the deadline to secure their preferred classes.
Important registration reminders:
After 5:00 p.m. on October 20, registration will be temporarily unavailable until the new student information system launches, which is expected in November.
During this transition, students are encouraged to continue meeting with their advisors, planning their spring course schedules, and resolving any outstanding holds to be ready when registration reopens.
Quottly/MUS Courseshare students will register in November.
Banner Access Ends October 20
Banner will be completely shut down at 5:00 p.m. on October 20.
After this deadline, students will no longer be able to access Banner Self-Service, including student records, registration information, and other information previously available through the system.
Students will access their information through the new Pioneer Portal, powered by Jenzabar One, once the system becomes available in November.
While the official launch of Jenzabar One and the Pioneer Portal should be around November 9, that date may change due to various factors. Additional information and instructions will be shared with students as they become available.
Submitting Forms & Student Requests During the Transition
Although Banner will be unavailable, students may continue submitting paperwork, forms, and requests through MCC Student Services as usual.
Forms and requests may still be submitted:
This includes, but is not limited to:
Transcript requests will continue to be processed as usual.
Housing applications will also remain open. Students can continue submitting applications and payments as usual through bit.ly/MCCHousing.
Payments for outstanding balances should continue to be made through the MCC Business Office.
What happens to requests submitted during the transition?
All submissions will be accepted during the transition. Once the new student information system becomes available, requests will be processed in the order they were received and backdated to reflect their original submission dates.
Students should continue submitting any necessary paperwork on time rather than waiting for the new system to launch.
