MILES CITY, MONTANA: Miles Community College is kicking off the new academic year by giving back to the Miles City community through its Fill the Wagon School Supply Drive. Students, families, faculty, and staff are invited to help fill the MCC Pioneer Wagon with school supplies during the annual Welcome Wagon BBQ on Sunday, August 23, beginning at 5:00 p.m. on the Centra Lawn.
This year’s drive will collect new crayons, colored pencils, and colored markers to support students at Sacred Heart School and Trinity Lutheran School in Miles City. Donations can be brought directly to the BBQ and added to the Pioneer Wagon throughout the evening.
Don’t have time to pick up supplies before the event? MCC will have additional school supplies available for purchase on site, making it easy for everyone to contribute.
The Fill the Wagon drive is part of MCC’s annual Welcome Wagon, a five-day celebration welcoming new and returning students to campus for the start of the academic year.
